2023 Production Update

This year should have been the 30th anniversary of the very first batch of our beautiful Crozier Blue. As many of you know, it is the only blue cheese made from sheep’s milk in Ireland and it is truly a product we take enormous pride in.

Sadly, we have to temporarily cease production of our sheep’s milk cheeses Crozier Blue and Shepherd’s Store until 2024.

We have chosen to end our relationship with our existing sheep’s milk supplier, Sheep’s Milk Ireland, and are currently unable to secure an alternative supplier who could provide a sustainable supply of sheep’s milk for 2023.

We are now busy trying to source a new supplier and hope to restart production in 2024.

In the meantime, there is good energy in the cheeseroom developing new and unique cheeses, which we hope to bring you during the course of the year ahead. So watch this space…..
