Lucky us! 2 of our cheeses have just won medals at the Guild of Fine Food’s World Cheese Awards at San Sebastian. This year’s World Cheese Awards had more entries than any previous year, making it the biggest WCA event so far – with cheeses from every corner of the globe. Judges also traveled from every corner of the globe, and included restauranteurs, cheese-journalists and cheesemongers.
So what did we win? Cashel Blue picked up a gold medal, and quite excitingly our new Cashel Blue Organic (made with extra creamy milk from The Little Milk Company) picked up a silver medal. A great start for our organic blue!
